History buffs, you won't want to miss "Perspectives of War" presentation at the North Texas History Center in McKinney. Save the date for Saturday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. as speakers will present first-hand accounts surrounding one of the most infamous wars in American history.
Collin County's Jack Bick, a reporter and photographer for the Public Information Office of the 9th Division, will discuss his time in Vietnam and what the war was like as a soldier. He will include in his presentation a slide show featuring his images from the war.
In addition to Bick's presentation, Michelle Hong, a former resident of Vietnam and a refugee, will discuss life as a civilian during the TET Offensive.
