DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a fun morning of fitness and festivities at the M
 cKinney Monster Dash 5K\, presented by Texans Credit Union\, on Saturday\,
  October 25th at 9:00 AM at Towne Lake Park. This family-friendly\, chip-t
 imed race invites runners and walkers to enjoy a scenic route\, festive vi
 bes\, and a spirited post-race celebration. \nWhether you’re racing for ti
 me or walking the course\, participants will enjoy beautiful lake views\,
  music\, local vendors\, and a lively finish line experience. Costumes are
  highly encouraged and add an extra layer of fun to this Halloween-themed
  5 K event. \nEach participant will receive a Monster Dash event t-shirt\,
  a custom race bib\, a finisher's medal\, and a complimentary beer from Tu
 pps Brewery (for participants 21 years of age and older). The race is stro
 ller-friendly\, making it a perfect event for the whole family. Register i

  will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers\, with
  $100 for first place\, $50 for second\, and $25 for third. A $25 prize wi
 ll also go to the top stroller strider. In addition\, age group awards wil
 l be given across seven categories\, ranging from 14 & under to 60 & over.
  \nThe excitement continues after the race with a festive costume contest
  presented by Whataburger\, where participants can compete for fun prizes\
 , including a free Whataburger for a year and more! The event also include
 s music\, sponsor activations\, photo ops\, and other fun surprises. \n
    Keep the Fun Going in Downtown McKinney! \nAfter the Monster Dash\, the
  celebration continues in Historic Downtown McKinney with the McKinney Spo
 oktacular Brews & Boos Walk presented by Russell Realty. From 11:00 AM – 6
 :00 PM\, participants can sip and stroll through the charming streets of D
 owntown McKinney\, enjoying tastings from over 20 unique stops inside loca
 l shops. Each stop will feature craft beers or spirits from top Texas brew
 eries and distilleries\, served in your signature Spooktacular tasting cup
 . Costumes are encouraged for an afternoon of Halloween-themed fun\, craft
  drinks\, shopping\, and community spirit! \n A portion of the proceeds fr
 om the events benefit local non-profits\, The Warrior’s Keep\, and Traffic
