DESCRIPTION:McKinney Repertory Theatre (MRT) is excited to announce the ret
 urn of its beloved annual production of  A Christmas Carol \, set to encha
 nt audiences this holiday season.   Each season\, more people are discover
 ing this timeless story by Charles Dickens in a way that only MRT can tell
 \, with families coming back year after year and making it a part of their
  holiday season traditions. In this show\, the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is
  taught the true meaning and spirit of Christmas by ghosts who show him hi
 s own past and present. He is also shown what the future holds for him if
  he doesn't change his ways.  \n This year will mark MRT’s 19 th  producti
 on of local McKinney playwright\, Dr. Andrew Harris’ one-hour adaptation o
 f “A Christmas Carol”.  Every year\, the MRT production features an array
  of local talent and young actors from the community\, all volunteering th
 eir time and talent to work together to bring Charles Dickens' unforgettab
 le tale of Ebenezer Scrooge to life.  Under the direction of Jennifer Lee\
 , with Marilyn Latham as Assistant Director\, this timeless classic promis
 es to deliver the magic\, heart\, and message of redemption that has made
  it a must-see holiday tradition here in McKinney.   \n McKinney Repertory
  Theatre (MRT) is a volunteer\, nonprofit\, community theatre committed to
  building community through live theatre and fostering a love for the arts
 .  MRT is a resident company at McKinney Performing Arts Center in histori
 c downtown McKinney.    \n Tickets are $14.50 for adults\, $11.50 for Seni
 ors 55+\, and $9.50 for children/students ages 4-18. Group tickets are ava
 ilable by calling the MPAC box office at (214) 544-4630.  \n This show is
  rated PG due to its thematic elements involving ghosts and death.  \n SHO
