DESCRIPTION:McKinney Repertory Theatre (MRT) is excited to announce the ret
 urn of its beloved annual production of A Christmas Carol \, set to enchan
 t audiences this holiday season.  Each season\, more people are discoverin
 g this timeless story by Charles Dickens in a way that only MRT can tell\,
  with families coming back year after year and making it a part of their h
 oliday season traditions. In this show\, the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge is t
 aught the true meaning and spirit of Christmas by ghosts who show him his
  own past and present. He is also shown what the future holds for him if h
 e doesn't change his ways.  \n This year will mark MRT’s 19 th production
  of local McKinney playwright\, Dr. Andrew Harris’ one-hour adaptation of
  “A Christmas Carol”.  Every year\, the MRT production features an array o
 f local talent and young actors from the community\, all volunteering thei
 r time and talent to work together to bring Charles Dickens' unforgettable
  tale of Ebenezer Scrooge to life.  Under the direction of Jennifer Lee\,
  with Marilyn Latham as Assistant Director\, this timeless classic promise
 s to deliver the magic\, heart\, and message of redemption that has made i
 t a must-see holiday tradition here in McKinney.   \n McKinney Repertory T
 heatre (MRT) is a volunteer\, nonprofit\, community theatre committed to b
 uilding community through live theatre and fostering a love for the arts.
   MRT is a resident company at McKinney Performing Arts Center in historic
  downtown McKinney.    \n Tickets are $14.50 for adults\, $11.50 for Senio
 rs 55+\, and $9.50 for children/students ages 4-18. Group tickets are avai
 lable by calling the MPAC box office at (214) 544-4630.  \n This show is r
 ated PG due to its thematic elements involving ghosts and death.  \n SHOW
