Easter started something big. Images of bunnies with baskets and pastel eggs with jelly beans inside disguise the truth that Easter started a revolution that changed everything.

“When Jesus rose from the dead, he brought new life to hopeless people. Easter is revolutionary, and we can be part of it,” said Christ Fellowship Senior Pastor Bruce Miller.  “There is no greater joy on this earth than the gift of Easter. This is why we celebrate.”

Easter weekend at Christ Fellowship begins with a multicultural Good Friday service on April 14 at 7 pm – this reflective service focuses on Christ’s crucifixion and burial. The service is designed for adults and children 6th grade and up.

Celebration services are Saturday, April 15 at 5 pm, and Sunday, April 16 at 9:30 and 11:15 am. Promiseland Children’s Ministry is offered for children ages newborn through fifth grade during all service times on Saturday and Sunday. Special children’s activities are planned for Saturday night, including free treats, crafts and photos with live animals.

“God has a heart for the hurting, the stressed, the weary … for YOU. We hope you'll join us for one of our services this Easter and experience true joy,” Miller said.

Christ Fellowship is a Bible based, nondenominational, multi-ethnic church located at 2801 Orchid Drive in McKinney, just off Eldorado and Hardin. Visit CFhome.org for more information.
