Holy Week, the week preceding Easter, is the last week in the season of Lent. First United Methodist Church, 315 N. Church Street in McKinney will observe the last day's of Jesus' life with special services.

Maundy Thursday, March 24, at 7:00 pm in Dyer Hall we offer a special communion service remembering the Last Supper of Jesus.

Good Friday, March 25, at 12:00 noon we will worship in the Sanctuary. That evening at 7:00 pm, the Chancel Choir will present John Rutter's Requiem, accompanied by harp, flute, oboe, cello, percussion and organ. Completed in 1985, the Rutter Requiem is one of the best loved and most widely performed choral works.

Easter Sunday, March 27  We celebrate Easter beginning with a sunrise service at 7:00 am. Traditional services in the Sanctuary are at 8:00, 9:00, 10:05 and 11:10 am. Contemporary services in Dyer Hall are at 9:00, 10:05 and 11:10 am.
