Join us in downtown McKinney at the Heard-Craig Center Carriage House for an insightful conversation about recent archaeological discoveries from the Viking world.  This will examine Viking hoard discoveries in England, burials in Sweden, and most recently, a Viking Ship burial near Oslo, Norway.  The 65-foot ship was discovered with ground penetrating radar and is believed to be the largest Viking ship ever discovered.  We will also examine some Viking myths and re-consider who these Scandinavian legends were.

This Art History Lecture is part of a monthly series held at the Heard-Craig and presented by Dr. Clair Robertson from Collin College.

Reservations are required for this FREE event.  See, "events" for tickets.
