Make your reservation today for the September Tea & Conversation event, held September 11, 2019 inside the beautiful Heard-Craig Center for the Arts.   The program, "Adventures of An Art Quilter" begins at 2:00 pm in the Carriage House.  The speaker is Carolyn Skei.    Carolyn will show some of her early art quilts and explain how her iPad has given her ideas for much larger quilts.    Her most recent large quilt, entitled, "Elba Isle Hancock", won two ribbons at the March, 2019 Dallas Quilt Show.  The quilt will be on its way to San Diego for display shortly after this Tea & Conversation program so you'll want to see it before it leaves for the west coast.

Carolyn Skei is a Member of the McKinney Art Club and is a member of the Dallas Area Fiber Artists organization.  She led a wonderful collage workshop at the Heard-Craig Center in 2016 and most recently provided a Sgraffito (oil pastels) presentation at the local art club meeting.  Always entertaining and informative, Carolyn never ceases to delight audiences.  Reserve your space today.

Following the program you'll walk to the Main Museum to have lunch and tea.  or 972.569.6909.
