MRT is partnering with AMT to present the North Texas premiere of "National Pastime", a fast-paced musical comedy by Tony Sportiello and Al Tapper set in 1930s Iowa about a small-town radio station saved by broadcasting games for a fake, undefeated baseball team. Directed by Aaron Adair and produced by Michele Crabtree, this musical romantic comedy is filled with toe-tapping numbers, laughter, and nostalgic charm.
This feel-good show runs October 3–4, 10–11, and 17–18, 2025, at the Courtroom Theater, McKinney Performing Arts Center.
