The McKinney Christian Academy golf tournament held April 11th at the TPC at Craig Ranch was a great success.  Twenty-three teams braved the rain for a great day of golf.  The sun came out for a beautiful day of golf after a thirty minute rain delay.  MCA would like to thank all the sponsors of the golf tournament.  Proceeds from the Tee It Up! golf tournament will support Christian education and children's advocacy.  A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will go to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).  The golf tournament presenting sponsors were Integrated Environmental Solutions, Nordhaus-Walpole, Dunrite/Trane, and Pepsico.  Dunrite HVAC Service and Trane donated a complete HVAC air conditioning system.  Raffle tickets for the HVAC unit were sold prior to the golf tournament, and the winning ticket was drawn during the awards dinner.  The raffle generated a great deal of excitement.  The event included a live auction during dinner.  Two highest bidders won a necklace and earring set donated by Kendra Scott jewelry, and a complete set of junior golf clubs donated by Concentra.  Whatever the skill level for any of the players in the tournament, the event proved to be a fun-filled day for everyone involved.
