In addition to its upcoming performances of "Dear Edwina," the McKinney Youth Theatre will also be presenting "Hairspray," beginning Friday, May 4.  The organization will feature eight performances of the musical at Heard-Craig Hall in McKinney.

Directed by Danny Miranda, "Hairspray" tells the story of 1960s teenager Tracy Turnblad as she performs on The Corney Collins Show while using her talent and fame for a good cause.

• Saturday, May 5 - 7:15 p.m.
• Sunday, May 6 - 5:15 p.m.
• Friday, May 11 - 7:15 p.m.

• Saturday, May 12 - 7:15 p.m.
• Sunday, May 13 - 5:15 p.m.

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.  Front row seats are available in advance for $18 each.
