The McKinney Arts Commission is Holding Informational Meetings on May 16 Regarding Grants

If you're part of a McKinney non-profit and are interested in applying for a grant, be sure to attend the City of McKinney Arts Commission's upcoming informational workshops.

The workshops, scheduled for May 16 at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, will provide information regarding the process of applying for an arts grant in the next fiscal year.  There have been changes to the application process, which will be covered in the meetings.

Attendance to one of the scheduled workshops is mandatory for those planning on applying for a grant.

Organizations that have a primary mission in the arts and a 501(c)3 designation may qualify for a grant.  It is not necessary for the organization to reside in McKinney, but events and projects must be held in the city.
