City of McKinney Will Host Police Memorial Ceremony on Tuesday, May 15

At 12 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, the McKinney Police Department will host a Police Memorial Ceremony at the Public Safety Building in McKinney.  The ceremony will be held to honor the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.

Community members are invited and encouraged to attend the ceremony, designed to honor officers throughout the nation.

The ceremony will be included as a part of National Police Week, established in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy. National Police Week is May 13-May 19.
