The Community Lifeline Center (CLC) will distribute free box fans from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 10.  Co-sponsored by TXU Energy, the event will serve to help residents beat the heat of the upcoming months.

TXU customers and non-customers are eligible to receive a box fan as long as they live within the CLC service area. In addition to box fans, light bulbs and energy efficiency kits will be distributed to TXU customers.

Those who wish to attend the event must bring a photo ID and a copy of their most recent electricity bill.
