Join the local community for Second Saturdays this weekend on May 12 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in historic downtown McKinney.  

During Second Saturdays, local businesses, including art galleries and restaurants, will extend business hours so guests can peruse the shops and eateries and find out what McKinney is all about.

This weekend's Second Saturdays will include a show presenting the work of students in McKinney North High School's Advanced Placement Studio Art class, showcasing 23 of the students' works including painting, prints and digital art.  The artwork will be displayed at Debra Linker's "The Artist's Loft" in downtown McKinney.

Additional art galleries and studios participating in May's Second Saturdays include: The Garret Art Gallery, Alternative Furnishings, Imaging on the Square, Laura Moore Fine Art Studio, and Orisons Fine Art & Framing Gallery.
