In its weekly Director's Report, The Samaritan Inn sent out statistics, dates to remember and an urgent needs list.

Weekly statistics* include:

  • Intakes:  13
  • Exits:  5
  • Graduates:  3 
  • Referred due to lack of space:  56

*Intakes refers to the people who have recently moved into the Inn.  Graduates are people who have completed our program and found a full-time job and a place of their own to live.  Exits are those who we have been asked to leave due to rule violations.  Referrals are usually to other agencies

Volunteer Orientations (held at The Samaritan Inn conference room) are:

  • Thursday, July 19 at 10 a.m.
  • Saturday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m.

If you're interested in attending a Volunteer Orientation session, please RSVP to jrix@thesamaritaninn.org.

Urgent Needs at The Samaritan Inn include:

  • Full-size sheets- flat and fitted
  • High-efficiency laundry detergent
  • Floor cleaner

Items can be delivered directly to The Samaritan Inn facility (1710 N. McDonald Street).  A full list of needed items can be found here.
