The Heard-Craig Center for the Arts is offering you a free lesson in art history with its Aug. edition of the Art History Brown Bag Series, showcasing Chagall in Paris on Wednesday, Aug. 1.  This month's event will be held in the Heard-Craig Carriage House.

On the first Wednesday of every month, the Heard-Craig Art History series gives you an inside look into an accomplished artist's life and work.  The Art History Brown Bag series will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. during the lunch hour, and guests are encouraged to bring their lunch.

The presentation will include a slide presentation and a lecture featuring Annie Royer, a studio and decorative painter and muralist for over 20 years.

Reservations are not required, and the event is free and open to the public.  All are welcome to attend.
