On August 5th, Christ United Methodist Church of Princeton invites volunteers to help with their Back to School Bash, a program designed to give school supplies and health examinations to children in need. Each year, the church works with Princeton ISD to host the event as efficiently as possible. The effort is completely volunteer-driven, so parents, teachers, and students are all encouraged to sign up to help.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 5^th, volunteers are needed at Smith Elementary School. Possible jobs include manning tables, directing students, and distributing supplies. A few set up jobs before the day of the event are also available. There are no special requirements for volunteers, so any and all help is appreciated. For students, this is also a great opportunity to obtain summer credit hours.
