McKinney Christian Academy Seventh Grader Abigail Dahl recently won a statewide InvestWrite competition out of a pool of over 2,000 entries.  Dr. Steven Cobb, Director, Center for Economic Education at University of North Texas presented the award and a $100 prize check.  InvestWrite is a companion piece to The Stock Market Game.  It is a teacher-designed writing component and competition that reinforces the students' newfound stock market knowledge, and hones critical thinking skills.

The presentation was made during the McKinney Christian Academy Middle School awards ceremony on May 25th.
