Though rain was an issue last weekend, forecasters have predicted good weather for the rescheduled McKinney Rotary Holiday Parade of Lights.

The parade, which was rescheduled from Dec. 3 because of rain, will be held through downtown McKinney on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m.  Entries must report to the parade before 5:30 p.m.

This year's theme for the parade is "A Star Spangled Christmas," and entries will be judged based on theme, decorations, costumes, lights and enthusiasm of entry members.

The parade route will begin in the courthouse parking lot and then travel north on Tennessee Street to Hunt Street and the south down Kentucky Street.
