Portions of Greenwood Road in McKinney Closed Beginning Thursday, Aug. 16

As TxDOT's project to widen U.S. 75 continues, the City of McKinney has posted on its Facebook page that Greenwood Road between U.S. 75 and Redbud Boulevard will be closed beginning at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16.  Due to this closure, mail collection boxes at the Post Office will be relocated for convenience.

From the City of McKinney:

As part of the ongoing project to widen U.S. 75 in McKinney, TxDOT will close Greenwood Road between U.S. 75 and Redbud Boulevard beginning 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16. As a result, the blue mail collection boxes at the McKinney Main Post Office have been relocated to the north side of the Post Office on Bois D' Arc Street. Signs are posted in the front parking lot directing customers to the new drop location.

Collection times remain the same: 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Please be alert and cautious of the new driving patterns. Collection box location and times remain unchanged for customers using the Postal Service retail site located west of U.S. 75 at 7210 Virginia Pkwy. Suite 100. The last collection time at the Linkside Park location remains 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
