The City of McKinney will be performing its monthly test of the Outdoor Warning System (OWS) on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 12 p.m.  

The City reminds residents that when the OWS is activated during an actual emergency, they should go inside and tune into local news and weather stations.  

The test will be canceled in the case of inclement weather on testing days.
