McKinney Christian Academy Board of Trustees, Head of School, Campaign Co-Chairs and MCA families came together on August 10th for the Ribbon Cutting at the new campus Upper School and Administration Offices.  The expanded classroom and office space are the culmination of a very successful first phase of the Capital Campaign.  Robb Temple, Board Chair, recognized City Council members, County Commissioner Chris Hill. and State Representative Scott Sanford, who will be presenting MCA with a flag that had been flown over the State Capitol in Austin.  Mayor George Fuller read a Proclamation from the city of McKinney and thanked MCA for their wonderful partnership with the city for the past 25 years.  County Commissioner Chris Hill presented a flag that had been flown over the Collin County Courthouse and read a Proclamation from the county.  Robb Temple thanked Board Members Dan Brooks and Lee Brock for their vision for quality Christian education 25 years ago.  The Upper School Ribbon Cutting on August 10th is the result of much prayer and faithfulness from MCA families, Staff and the Board of Trustees.  Carol Ownby, Advancement Consultant, stated, "The new MCA Upper School is a great addition to our campus that will serve our families and community.  We look forward to providing a quality education with Godly focus to students for many years."
