Your Allen Americans advanced to round three last Tuesday with 5-1 game six victory in Missouri against the top seeded Mavericks. Round three has your #4 seeded Allen Americans facing the #2 seeded Ft. Wayne Comets. Your Americans traveled from Independence Missouri directly to Ft. Wayne Indiana last Wednesday to begin their series on the road. Our defending ECHL Kelly Cup Champions didn’t disappoint. They played Friday night and won 5-3 and Sunday evening winning 3-2 in overtime. The series will now shift back to Allen where the Americans will have a chance to close it out at home by winning two of three games at Allen Event Center.
