McKinney Christian Academy’s Board of Trustees is excited to announce that MCA is moving forward with the first phase of their Brick by Brick Capital Campaign.  With over $3 million received toward the $5.2 million goal, construction will begin this summer!

Construction on this portion of Phase One will include the following projects to be completed in fall 2017:

-          12 Upper School Classrooms

-          Upper School Administration

  • Administration Offices
  • Conference Room
  • Reception Area
  • Restrooms

-          The current Upper School facility will be renovated and designed to specifically meet the needs for Middle School (scheduled for summer 2017)

The remaining Phase One projects include the following:

-          Dedicated Career and Technology Classrooms, Science Labs, and 8 classrooms ($2.2 Million funding still required)

"For 24 years MCA has flourished and grown.  The school roots go back to an old bank building, with just two classes the first year.  Now, after much prayer, we are ready to break ground on a new Upper School this summer.  It’s an exciting time at MCA!  Thank you for your dedication, prayer and financial support.  Our current and future students will be blessed by it.  God is so good!" -  Robb Temple, MCA Board of Trustees President

Support of MCA’s “Brick by Brick...Continuing the Legacy” capital campaign demonstrates a commitment to Christian education in McKinney and continues the legacy of MCA’s founding families.

To take a tour of the MCA campus or schedule a time for the vision and plans to be shared, contact Carol Ownby at 214-504-7222.  Continuing the legacy of teaching students to live biblically through education of mind, body and spirit is the top priority to MCA staff and leadership, and we want to share with the community.

It is an exciting time to be a part of the MCA family!
