1st Dallas NEDA Walk Set for Saturday, April 14 to Support Those Affected by Eating Disorders

For the first time, the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is hosting the 1st Dallas NEDA Walk, a fundraiser developed to support the millions of Americans that suffer from eating disorders throughout the country.

This year's event will be held at the Frisco Commons Park on Saturday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to noon.  In addition to the one-mile walk around the Frisco Commons Trail, the event will feature speakers including author, singer and songwriter Jenni Shaefer and author and dietician Jessica Setnick.  

During the event, participants are encouraged to visit informational booths from sponsors. Refreshments, raffle prizes other activities will close out the NEDA Walk around 12 p.m.

All proceeds from the Dallas NEDA Walk will benefit NEDA and The Elisa Project, a non-profit organization promoting the resources to successful, healthy recovery from eating disorders.
