McKinney Platinum Sponsors Team Up With National Back To Church Sunday Citywide Initiative

With the National Back to Church Sunday Rally quickly approaching, on September 13 (Saturday), it has been an exciting time for Sonya Paul and Rolanda Greer, the chairs for NBTC Citywide Initiative!  This year they were joined by Flora Ray as their Administrative Assistant who has done a fantastic job in handling the administrative tasks for NBTC McKinney.  We were very pleased to get our 1st donation at a Platinum Level from Encore Wire, followed by another Platinum Level Sponsorship from McKinney's Integrated Enviornmental Solutions LLC company.

It was even a greater surprise when North Texas Job Corps agreed to provide their cadets to help volunteer in areas of security, registration, food distribution and other areas for the rally! North Texas Job Corps has been instrumental in the support of this rally especially our first year in 2013. Their cadets were professional, very structured and just an outright blessing to have working with us, along with Job Corps Impact team!

The Latest Platinum Sponsor is TAPS!  Barbara Reeves, TAPS community Adovacate, has been working with the NBTC McKinney chairs to provide transportion from 3 locations in McKinney!  We are beyond thankful to these Sponsors! This will help more people to come and enjoy the event, especially those with no transportation!

AEYL (Alliance for Elite Youth Leadership) is an organization that works with young men ages 12-18 years old, mentoring in tutoring, community service, athletics, and academics.  AEYL has also been a major contributor in working with NBTC McKinney! They have secured bounce houses to ensure the little ones at the event has some play time.

We are truly excited about this years event. Come on out with lawn chairs, blankets, and enjoy free praise and worship, free food, bibles, speakers and worship Bands!

A youth summit is also scheduled for 9/12/2014 at Eternity Community Church from 6:30 to 9:00PM. Police Officers from McKinney Police Dept will also be there to speak about the K2 drug.

Questions or comments, please contact Sonya Paul at 469-450-6276 or Rolanda Greer at 972-658-3964.
