McKinney ISD Council Of PTAs Joins The McKinney Chamber Of Commerce!

On May 13 the McKinney ISD Council of PTAs joined the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. Holly Sanchez, current president of the McKinney ISD Council of PTAs, was joined by McKinney ISD leadership including principals from PTA campuses, central office personal and local PTA presidents and officers to help in celebration of the ribbon cutting signifying their entrance in to the Chamber of Commerce.  Holly Sanchez believes that this is a step in the right direction to demonstrate the growth of PTA in McKinney ISD and how PTA is becoming a community partner to advocate for all children in McKinney.

“PTA’s is all about every child. One voice. Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. As a PTA, you are able to be a stronger group of parents, educators or anyone in the community to really make a difference in education for our children in McKinney. The networking and connections you have as a PTA member can really make the difference when trying to accomplish a goal to advocate for your child and/or children. Personally, that is what I find so appealing about PTA. Joining the Chamber gives McKinney Council PTA an added connection to the community and shows that we are here to be partner in the growth of this amazing city!" Sanchez said.
