Soccer Fever Hits Legacy West in Plano with Flagship Adidas Store Opening in June 2026

Legacy West is officially planting its flag as a North Texas destination for soccer fans. Today, the premier lifestyle district announced a series of high-energy activations, including the grand opening of a flagship adidas store and a new installation at Legacy West to celebrate the destination’s “footie fever” heading into the summer.

Adidas Grand Opening

The soccer excitement kicks off with the highly anticipated arrival of the new adidas store at Legacy West. On June 4, the store officially opens its doors, bringing to Plano the classic street style for which Adidas is known.

Spanning more than 3,200 square feet, the shop will follow the adidas originals format, which focuses on creativity, culture and self-expression. It will lean heavily into lifestyle fashion and art as a complement to sports performance. Shoppers can expect a mix of premium products and limited-edition releases, with the new store featuring assortments and activations tailored specifically to the DFW and Plano market to reflect local energy.

adidas will be situated on the north end of the Legacy West development, joining a high-end cluster of neighbors that includes Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Ralph Lauren. Fans will be able to follow a trail of soccer-themed stickers placed throughout the property, leading them directly to the adidas storefront.

Soccer Installation at the Legacy West Fountain

In May, Legacy West will unveil a vibrant, soccer-themed art installation near the Legacy West Fountain.

Set on a soccer pitch, the centerpiece will be a Texas-shaped photo monument filled with soccer balls, celebrating the beautiful game and the excitement building across North Texas. Branded selfie stations and complementary signage will enhance the experience, giving fans the perfect opportunity to capture the moment with the perfect photo.

The installation will also serve as the setting for fan activities celebrating soccer fever. On Monday, June 8, Legacy West will host a family-friendly celebration at the Legacy West Fountain from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. During this special event, the area will transform into a fan fun zone featuring yard games, complimentary snow cones and photo opportunities with the installation.

Legacy West is an excellent home-away-from-home base for matches at AT&T Stadium. Anchored by the Renaissance Dallas at Plano hotel, the district offers soccer fans immersive experiences—from themed dining and live events to premier shopping and high-energy watch parties just steps from their door.
