Our newest post is "Mist Covered Mountain." It's a Scot's lullaby, and though the melody is a variant of an older one, "Johnny, So Long at the Fair," the author (in the mid 1800s) generated a powerful version that inspires the feeling of grandeur of a mountain and for those who live in its presence. Earnie Taft and I put this one together where Earnie starts the tune off with his fiddle, and I join in with my Kerry Mezzo C whistle, Irish-tuned Bouzouki, and a stomp (drum) board.
