In recognition of Homeless Awareness Week, Stonebridge United Methodist Church partnered with The SoupMobile to make bags of trail mix.
The SoupMobile is a mobile soup kitchen that feeds and shelters the homeless. As a faith based, non-profit, they serve over 200,000 meals per year and shelter the homeless in 8 group homes. The mission of the SoupMobile is three simple words spoken by Jesus: "FEED MY SHEEP." Stonebridge UMC was able to package almost 1,600 trail mix bags for distribution to area homeless.
