Almost every culture has a variation on the meatball in its cuisine, but here in the United States, Italian immigrants created the orb most seen on the American table. Refined Hospitality Concepts (RHC) will celebrate the sphere when they bring Sfereco to Plano this summer. This will be the restaurant’s fourth location after Downtown Dallas, Lewisville, and the River Walk in Flower Mound.
Located in the Preston Park development at 1941 Preston Road, Suite 1004, the 3,200-square-foot Sfereco will also offer a private event space plus a patio that can accommodate up to an additional 50 diners. The restaurant will feature a Spaghetti Western-themed interior, menu offerings and a fun, kitschy vibe that celebrates the uniqueness of the brand.
RHC CEO Robert Hall is excited to bring this growing concept to Plano diners.
“We’ve been so pleased with the reception Sfereco has received in the communities where we’ve opened,” said Hall. “Our Plano location represents an important part of this growing brand, and we look forward to opening additional Sfereco locations in North Texas.
Sfereco has already announced a planned location in the new Mercer Crossing Boardwalk in Farmers Branch which will open this year as well.
While Sfereco’s menu celebrates the meatball, with six or more types regularly offered, the menu is designed to let the guest customize their dining experience. The restaurant has a “build-your-own” approach to let diners tailor pizzas and meatball dishes to their own liking. The menu also features vegan and gluten-free options, including an Impossible Meatball and a tasty cauliflower-crust option for pizzas.
Guests can dine in, order online and through popular third-party delivery apps or pick it up to-go at the restaurant. A full-service bar will offer patrons a curated selection of beer, wine and craft cocktails, including a menu of Italian-inspired specialty libations.
