Christmas in Castle Hills is twice the holiday fun this year!
Annual Holiday in the Plaza is joined by inaugural Rockin’ ‘round The Realm celebration
The annual Holiday in the Plaza and tree lighting is returning to Castle Hills on Saturday, November 27, 4 to 7 p.m. Holiday in the Plaza takes place at the Castle Hills Village Shops, located at 2540 King Arthur Blvd. at Lady of the Lake in the Castle Hills community. This year, Castle Hills is adding a second holiday celebration. Rockin’ ‘round The Realm takes place Thursday, December 2, 5:30 to 9 p.m. Rockin’ ‘round The Realm is at The Realm at Castle Hills, 4400 State Hwy. 121 at Josey Ln. Both events feature a long list of holiday activities, are festive and FREE, and everyone is welcome!
Holiday in the Plaza is full of family-friendly holiday activities including photo ops with Santa, the popular Christmas monkey (don’t forget your camera) and live reindeer! The fun also includes drumming toy soldiers, a snow machine, carnival games, the Polar Express Train and more. Santa will light the iconic Castle Hills 68-foot tree after sunset.
The Castle Hills Village Shops is a popular neighborhood destination with several unique eateries. Come early or stay late to enjoy food and beverages from the Shops’ many unique spots. Ramen Izakaya Akira, featuring traditional ramen, is perfect for a crisp November day. Enjoy some street tacos from T.B.D. Kitchen, a specialty pizza from PI.E 3.14 Everyday Eatery or a pumpkin spice latte at Sophia’s Kitchen! You can also check some holiday shopping off your list at Estilo Concept Store or Design Time Art Studio.
Rockin’ ‘round The Realm is the perfect spot to celebrate the holidays after a long day at the office. The event features a DJ, photo ops with Santa and his team, food and drink specials, and culminates with an impressive tree lighting.
The Realm at Castle Hills also offers spots to relax and enjoy the holiday festivities. El Patio Mex-Tex and its popular rooftop patio, Arriba, offer one-of-a-kind Mex-Tex dishes and unique cocktails. You can also pop into The London Baker’s newest location and enjoy some sweets or a pumpkin spice latte on a plush velvet sofa.
