SBG HOSPITALITY CELEBRATES 5 YEARS IN BUSINESS!

The McKinney Based Company Produces Community Festivals and Endurance Races.

5 years ago SBG Hospitality opened its doors for business and began to plan and market events that bring people together to enjoy food, entertainment, fitness and spirits against the backdrop of their community. During this time, owners Lauren and Andrew Stephan have organized a 5k where runners clad in green dashed to the finish line to enjoy a mug of green beer at the McKinney St. Patricks’ Day Festival and Shamrock Run; allowed culinary fanatics to nosh and imbibe at the Plano Food and Wine Festival; enabled wine enthusiasts to discover new industry innovations at Frisco Uncorked; encouraged people to shout Prost as they lifted their steins at Frisco Oktoberfest; and invited people to walk along the streets of downtown McKinney to shop while sipping a beer, wine or margarita at the McKinney Sip and Stroll series.

“We opened SBG Hospitality in 2017 and have loved every minute of the frenetic planning that goes into each event, which starts with securing sponsorships, vendors and city permits. We have met amazing people and have created incredible partnerships over the past 5 years. 2020 proved that we’re an innovative and resilient group of event professionals,” said SBG Hospitality owner Lauren Stephan.

Along with the aforementioned events, SBG Hospitality produces the following annual festivals: McKinney Wine & Music Festival, Allen Food and Wine Walk, McKinney Monster Dash 5K, McKinney Spooktacular Beer Walk, Dripping Springs Race to Brunch 5k, Run for the Rose’ 5K and the newly added Fort Worth Fried Chicken and Craft Beer Festival.

“We’re enthusiastic about giving back to organizations that help people in our communities live better, healthier, happier lives, said SBG Hospitality owner Andrew Stephan. “Each event we produce, we partner with a local nonprofit to help serve and bring awareness to its mission. We have worked with some remarkable groups that include Hugs Café, The Warriors Keep, Embrace Texas, McKinney Little Free Pantry, Treasured Vessels Foundation, Friso Arts Foundation, Plano Arts & Heritage Foundation and Frisco Veterans of Foreign Wars.”
