More than 2,800 pairs of jeans will be available for purchase during the $5 Jeans Sale on Saturday, April 13 in the parking lot at Texas Star Bank in McKinney. The public is invited to shop.

All proceeds will benefit Family Promise of Collin County, an organization that provides food, shelter and support services to Collin County families with children as the families try to regain sustainable independence.

The $5 Jeans Sale is set from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13 in the parking lot at Texas Star Bank, 2800 W. Virginia Parkway in McKinney. In the event of rain, the sale will be held April 13 in the Great Hall at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5871 W. Virginia Parkway.

Trinity Presbyterian Church is sponsoring the $5 Jeans Sale and members of its congregation are providing the volunteer organizers and staff.

“These jeans were donated to Family Promise and Trinity offered to have a yard sale for them, benefiting Family Promise,” says organizer Don Sams. “The jeans are greatly discounted – this is a great opportunity for anyone who needs several pairs of jeans.”

The jeans are available in styles for men, women and children and in all sizes, from toddler through adult. The jeans range in condition from brand new to worn.

A large turnout is expected, so shoppers are advised to come early.
