Spring Plant Sale - April 6-7
For more than 20 years, veteran and novice gardeners alike have anticipated this rare opportunity to purchase plants from a huge selection of hard-to-find herbs, native and well-adapted plants. The Members-Only Pre-Sale is April 5, 2013 - 4 to 7 p.m. (Memberships are available online or at plant sale.) The plant sale is open to the public: April 6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and April 7, 1 to 5 p.m. Admission to the Plant Sale is free. For more information, visit heardmuseum.org.

Celebrate Nature - April 6
Leave no one inside and enjoy the beauty of spring at Heard Natural Science Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary's one-day outdoor spring festival, Celebrate Nature on April 6, 2013  from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m..

This day will be filled with special activities for the whole family, including live concerts, interactive animal presentations, a Blackland Prairie Raptor Show, canoe demonstrations, vendors, and more. Guests will also enjoy our Animals of the World and Animal Superheroes exhibits, and butterfly garden. Purchase concessions, or bring a picnic. Admission to Celebrate Nature is only $10 for adults, 

Tickerts are $7 for children ages 3-12 and seniors, and free for children ages two and under. Heard members and McKinney residents will receive free admission (up to four per household) on this day with valid ID.  For more information, visit heardmuseum.org.
