NOVEMBER 20 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE AND FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

At approximately 4:04 PM, police responded to the main lobby of HPDPS for a walk-in BMV report. The victim's car had been burglarized while it was parked in the underground parking garage at the Dallas Country Club. Several items were taken without permission. The known suspect claimed that the victim had given her permission to take the items, but the victim denied having done so.


NOVEMBER 21

CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD ABUSE 

A store in the HPSV reported a fraudulent credit card purchase. It appears that a customer used a credit card that was not hers to make a large purchase. 

FAILURE TO LEAVE ID AT ACCIDENT 

At approximately 10:40 PM, an officer was dispatched to investigate an accident in which the responsible party did not leave behind the lawfully-required information. The accident occurred in the 4500 block of Bordeaux Avenue. Witnesses provided conflicting information in regards to the suspect. 


NOVEMBER 22

FOUND PROPERTY 

Police took the keys of a suspect and forgot to return them. They have been filed into the Found Property at HPDPS.  

DAMAGE TO TOWN PROPERTY 

Police responded to a wreck in the 4600 block of Roland Avenue. The driver had overcorrected, causing the vehicle to jump a curb and damage the grass, a brick wall, and a tree. 


NOVEMBER 23

BURGLARY OF HABITATION 

At approximately 9:10 AM, an officer spoke with a victim who stated that between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM the day before, an unknown person had entered the garage of the residence in the 3200 block of Beverly Drive and taken three bicycles without permission. The police located one of the bikes in a back alley. 


NOVEMBER 24

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At approximately 6:08 PM, police responded to a store in the HPSV to investigate a theft that occurred on Wednesday. Police obtained video from the surveillance system that shows the suspects removing products without permission. 


NOVEMBER 25

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

An officer reported to the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive in regards to a BMV at approximately 9:40 PM. The victim stated that someone had removed property from the vehicle without permission. The unknown subject broke the right rear glass of the vehicle to gain access while the victim and his wife were eating at a nearby restaurant. 


NOVEMBER 26

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At approximately 12:06 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 3600 block of Beverly Drive in regards to the theft of a package. The house manager advised that someone had taken the packaged from the front porch at approximately 11:55 AM and that the owner of the home has a video of the theft. 

POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA AND DISORDERLY CONDUCT 

While on a routine patrol, police noticed several subjects in a parked vehicle acting suspiciously. The officer approached the vehicle and made contact with the driver. The driver refused to produce a driver's license, so he was asked to leave his vehicle. He refused, so the officer removed the driver from the vehicle physically. The officer could smell marijuana on the suspect and located a bag of the drug on him. The suspect claimed that he had not ingested any marijuana, but his eyes were bloodshot. The suspect then urinated on the sidewalk and was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
