Six children were rushed to local hospitals Monday afternoon, firefighters say it appears they were playing with fire in the backyard of a home in McKinney. It happened in the 800 block of Center Street just after 1:30 p.m.
Three of the children were in critical condition. Careflite was transporting them to area hospitals according to the fire department. The three other children suffered minor injuries.
