Helping families thrive. It’s an ambitious mission, but one The Family Greenhouse works for every single day. Jennifer Cobb of McKinney was drawn to the vision of this nonprofit group, and is rolling up her sleeves to join in the work as volunteer treasurer and member of the board of directors.

The Family Greenhouse, under the leadership of founders Scott and Abigail Doust of McKinney, offers coaching, workshops and educational resources.

“Making and nurturing strong relationships is vital to quality of life,” Cobb said. “After meeting Scott and Abigail and learning about The Family Greenhouse, I became interested in their passion to provide coaching to help others grow in this area. Serving as treasurer on the Board is an exciting way to help others.”

Cobb is a Certified Public Accountant and owns a CPA firm based in McKinney.  She is a member of the McKinney Chamber of Commerce, serves on the LINKS networking committee, and is a participant in the Leadership McKinney Class of 2018.  She is an active member at First Baptist McKinney, including coaching an Upward basketball team there each season. Cobb is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with family.

“We help individuals, couples and families better communicate, accept other’s personalities, resolve conflict, deal with stress and learn to thrive in their relationships,” said Abigail Doust. “We hope you see the fruit of our focus when you attend a workshop, come for coaching or bring us into your group. You will find that each member of our team is authentic, real, fun and challenging. We want to join people on the path to being all they can be.”
