Trinity Falls is introducing a summer promotion that is both big and green — “The Grillin’ & Chillin’ Big Green Egg Giveaway.”

Through July, visitors to model homes within Trinity Falls can take a photo there and post it to the community’s Facebook page for a chance to win the grand prize, valued at more than $1,000. Other contest requirements include tagging three friends and using the hashtag #TrinityFalls.

“Summer is all about backyard cookouts and spending time with family and friends,” said Jessica Zeeb, Marketing Manager for Trinity Falls. “This contest promotes that idea of neighborly camaraderie and gives people a chance to tour our models, several of which are new.”

Visitors to the models will be able to chill with free treats from Kona Ice during community happy hours each Saturday in July from 2-4 p.m. The Kona Ice truck will be at various model homes, with locations posted on the Trinity Falls Facebook page each week. As an added bonus, participants will have a chance to win a $100 gift card to Premier Grilling in McKinney, a prize that will be awarded weekly.

“We certainly encourage people to have fun with their photo entries, but the Big Green Egg winner will be selected at random,” Zeeb said.

One original photo per week is allowed. Winners will be announced on Facebook.

Trinity Falls is a 2,000-acre community just west of Highway 75 and north of Highway 380. Builders Ashton Woods, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, Meritage Homes, Perry Homes and Plantation Homes offer floor plans priced from the lower $300,000s to more than $600,000. A centerpiece of the community is B.B. Owen Park, a 350-acre natural area along the East Fork of the Trinity River.
