The McKinney Ladies Association (MLA) invites the public to take part in three upcoming events to benefit their community.

A Feb. 11 evening of service, a March 4 fashion show and a May 4 community yard sale.

The evening of community service and fashion show will benefit Community Lifeline Center, and the community yard sale benefits MLA’s scholarship fund for children of police officers and firefighters.

Monday, Feb. 11 Evening of Service:
Join members of MLA at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11 at Community Lifeline Center, 1601 W. University Drive in McKinney, to assist with various tasks at Community Lifeline’s new location.

“The McKinney Ladies Association is proud to help and support this wonderful nonprofit, which works to assist those experiencing crises due to unexpected medical or family emergencies,” said Tracy Rath, MLA President. “MLA is honored to partner with Community Lifeline Center to better our community.”

Monday, March 4 Fashion Show:
The public is cordially invited to MLA’s Spring 2013 Fashion Show to benefit Community Lifeline Center at 6 p.m. Monday, March 4 at Eldorado Country Club, 2604 Country Club Drive in McKinney. Enjoy fresh fashions, dinner, cocktails and a silent auction, among other treats.

Saturday, May 4 Community Yard Sale:
MLA is now accepting reservations for its popular community-wide spring yard sale, set for 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 4 in the parking lot at Stonebridge United Methodist Church, 1800 S. Stonebridge Drive in McKinney.

Members of the community may reserve a space to sell items (except concessions) by contacting coordinator Connie Hollstein-Drexel by email at cjhollstein@aol.com or by going online to
www.mckinneyladies.org.

The cost to reserve one of the 126 available spaces is $45. Reservations must be received by April 29.
