The Sunflower Chapter of the National Charity League will be honoring the class of 2015 in a Senior Recognition Gala this Saturday the 28th of February at the TPC Craig Ranch Banquet Hall.
The mission of NCL is to foster mother-daughter relationships by donating their time in community service, developing leadership skills and experiencing cultural activities. Being a fairly young chapter, the five seniors, who have been with the organization since its inception three years ago have collectively served a combined total of 271 of Philanthropy hours. Philanthropies the Sunflower Chapter support include Cancer Support Center of North Texas, Cornerstone Assistance Network, Collin County Community of Aging, and Habitat for Humanity among many others.
The honorees presented are Madison Murrah, Mary Lee Knowles, Madison Floyd, Maggie Carrell and Emily Stevens. These young ladies represent High Schools in the Dallas and Collin County area and live in McKinney and Prosper.
