FUMC-McKinney and Traffick911 to Present Informational Session on Human Trafficking

Colette Copeland Williams, a national advocate and volunteer with Traffick911 will present an informational session about the problem of human sex trafficking in Texas, and specifically here in Collin County, and how to help stop the exploitation of children. This event, sponsored by the United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church of McKinney, will take place on Thursday, March 26, 7:00-8:30 pm at The Hub youth center, 102 W. Lamar Street, McKinney 75069. The community is invited to join us to learn how we all can be more aware and keep young people safe.

The mission of Traffick911 is to free children from sexual slavery with a strategy that includes prevention through education and awareness, rescue, and restoration. For more information about Traffick911 visit www.traffick911.com. There is no charge to attend. Any donations received will support care for trafficked survivors at Triumph House.
