We are pleased to announce that the results of this year's McKinney Magazine / Chamber of Commerce poll that determines the readers' choices for the best businesses in McKinney, have been released.

And although we are humbled by being selected as the best plumbing business this year, we thank the readers and our customers for allowing us to be the ones that were able to perform for them when they needed us. Best Restaurant- Rick's Chophouse: If you are into ambiance in a traditional setting, the environment at Rick's will not disappoint you. Located in the Grand Hotel building, which opened in the 19th century, the friendly, relaxing surroundings combined with some of the most highly-rated wait staff in the Dallas Metro Area will help set the tone for a wide variety of chops and seafood. Rick's has been a perennial favorite in town for years- making it a nice surprise that it was chosen as restaurant of the year this year by the local Chamber of Commerce. Known regionally for its complex desserts and its chefs' prowess at cooking perfect meat every time, the restaurant appears set to continue to shine for decades to come.

Best Golf Course- Stonebridge Ranch Country Club, The Ranch Club – The Hills Course: Designed by Arthur Hills, who arguably created one of the most talked about holes in Central Texas with his 12th hole design on the Wolf dancer course, this course features 27 holes that challenge players both horizontally and vertically as it winds through the community of Stonebridge Ranch. Always a favorite for those who play there, the staff is noted for providing prompt and courteous service, while the facilities are kept in pristine condition. The course amenities include a driving range, a pro-shop, and a grill attached to the Country Club. Strange that one of the toughest courses in the area should get so much admiration- but it is in the nature of golfers to respect what they have to continually fight to beat.
