Susser Bank hosted a client appreciation event at McKinney’s family-owned Local Yocal BBQ & Grill. Janine Marshall, Susser Bank Firsco/McKinney Market President, welcomed more than 30 guests and Susser team members to The Augustus, the venue’s event space in historic downtown McKinney.

Guests enjoyed the venue’s elegantly rustic atmosphere, Chairman and CEO Sam L. Susser’s remarks about his family’s deep Texas roots, and the bank’s commitment to helping clients succeed for generations to come.

The evening’s theme was “Steak 101,” a tutorial presented by Matt Hamilton, owner of Local Yocal. Topics covered explanations about ranching, agriculture and the types of cuts, USDA grading, common marketing terms, along with how best to prepare a steak the way a client would best enjoy it – followed by succulent samples of 18 flavorful cuts, all charred to juicy perfection.

“Our clients are at the core of everything we do,” said Marshall. “Their trust, loyalty and partnership are instrumental in shaping how we best serve their interests in our relationship-driven organization. They work hard, so we wanted to keep them well-fed.”
