Ms. Erin Cummings will assume the role of Director of The PREP School of McKinney beginning Aug 27. Ms. Cummings brings a total of 15 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. She was most recently Director of the award-winning PREP School in Leander, Texas, before deciding to relocate back to her roots in the DFW area to be closer to family.
Ms. Cummings joins a management team which includes Assistant Director Kara Juarez, who is also certified by the Texas Department of Health and Human Services with the Texas Director’s Credential. Mrs. Juarez provides The PREP School with two credentialed leaders and served in the role of Acting Director during the Executive Search period for Ms. Cummings.
The PREP School of McKinney is a private preschool operating in the Wilson Creek Medical Park. The education-based preschool has private playground areas bordering the Wilson Creek Nature Area and is situated immediately across Hwy 380 from Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Entering its 11th School Year and serving students from 6 weeks to our small-class Accredited Kindergarten, The PREP School of McKinney just proudly graduated our longest attending student. This accomplished young lady, who started with us at age two and continuing through each classroom and after-school program, is entering the 23-24 School Year as a middle school 6th grader.
