Methodist McKinney Hospital President Joe Minissale presents a $4,000 donation to The Samaritan Inn's Chief Development Officer Melissa Bettis on September 19, 2017.

In addition to volunteering at The Samaritan Inn on a regular basis, employees of Methodist McKinney Hospital recently made personal monetary donations to The Samaritan Inn organization located in McKinney after learning its resources were low. Methodist McKinney Hospital President Joe Minissale said, "The Methodist McKinney family is committed to helping those in need and we are proud of our employees' generosity and the hospital was more than happy to match the money that was collected." The $4,000 donation was presented to The Samaritan Inn's Chief Development Officer, Melissa Bettis, this past week. “We are thankful for the funds raised by Methodist McKinney Hospital to support our program and ensure that our residents receive three meals a day, a safe place to live, counseling, case management and financial education," Bettis said. "Strong advocates like the Methodist McKinney team are the solution to ending homelessness in our community!”
