A few weeks ago, we asked our Uptown BubbleLife readers to nominate the best dessert places in the area, and today, we can finally announce the results. And the winner is *dramatic drumroll* Chocolate Secrets with 50 percent of the votes! So, why do people love this little shop so much?

• This place is fancy. You can't help but feel like a French aristocrat as you pop bonbons in your mouth and taste delicious wines. If you're looking for a special treat, look no further.
• They have everything from festive jazz nights to chocolate tastings, so each time you go, you can have a different experience.
• There's an ice cream bar, so you can have your truffles and a cone (because why not?).  
• It's fun to simply look around. With so many beautifully-painted candies and decorative pieces, just wandering around the shop is a treat in itself.
