A few weeks ago, we asked our Oak Cliff BubbleLife readers to nominate the best dessert places in the area, and today, we can finally announce the results. And the winner is *dramatic drumroll* Emporium Pies, with 38 percent of readers' votes!

Why People Love It: Not only is Emporium Pies an adorable venue, but it also serves fantastic pies. You can satisfy your sweet tooth with a single slice, or you can purchase an entire pie to take home to the family. Each item on the menu is delicious, and you can always pair your treat with a hot latte or a cup of tea. 

What to Order: Honestly, I haven't tried a pie that I haven't liked at Emporium Pies, but my favorite has to be the Smooth Operator (a scrumptious chocolate pie on a salty pretzel crust). People also love their Lord of the Pies (apple with cinnamon streusel). Whatever you choose, you'll probably love it.
