APRIL 24

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 53-year-old woman reported at 4:33 PM that approximately $1300 worth of property was stolen by an unknown suspect from a storage building in her backyard on the block of 2800 Westminster Avenue.


APRIL 25

POSSESSION OF DRUGS AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

Officers detained and arrested two known suspects for possession of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a building off of Hillcrest Avenue at approximately 8 PM.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 60-year-old resident reported stolen property at his place of work on Preston Road at 1:58 PM.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 20-year-old female resident reported that her car was burglarized in the parking lot of the Cafe Brazil off of Central Expressway while she dined.


APRIL 27

FORGERY

A 25-year-old male reported that a subject attempted to pay with a counterfeit $20 bill at the Starbucks on Mockingbird at 4:55 PM.


APRIL 28

BURGLARY OF HABITATION

A 22-year-old resident reported that his unlocked condo on Mcfarlin Boulevard was entered at some point during the morning hours (before 9 AM) and property was stolen.

FRAUD

A 46-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect opened a credit card account in his name without his permission.


APRIL 29

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS AFTER STRIKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE 

A 58-year-old resident reported that his vehicle was damaged on the front bumper and that the suspect left a note. When he called the number left on the note, the person he reached claimed that he was not involved in any accident. Accident occurred in the 4100 block of Emerson Avenue and was reported at 9:34 AM.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

At 1:03 PM, a 46-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect had egged his residence in the 4100 block of Hanover Street.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 28-year-old woman reported that her vehicle was burglarized on the city street in front of her residence in the 4300 block of Normandy Avenue between the hours of 5 PM on April 28 and 12 PM on April 29. Appears to be a part of a string of similar overnight acts.
